[Also in Division H2] A cable-supporting trough for attachment to a mine face conveyer comprises a side plate 1 having a base-plate 2 on which is adjustably mounted a side member 5. This member includes L-shaped posts 6 and a rail 7, the lower horizontal limb of each of the posts 6 being slidingly received in a channel 8 of the base-plate 2. Latch-bolts 10 engageable in a series of apertures (not shown) permit the width of the trough to be varied. A plate 13 is for carrying hoses and cables which are not hauled to and fro along the face. Apertures 11 in a plate 4 provide for attachment of rams for advancing the conveyer and/or roof supports. A stiffener link 14 engages in slots 15, 16 of adjacent rails 7. |
