PURPOSE:To considerably decrease defective working and to improve yield by preliminarily depositing a glass film having the softening point substantially lower than the softening point of a glass rod for welding on the slope of a winding groove of the 1st ferrite wafer and the contact surface of the 2nd ferrite wafer to be joined to the 1st ferrite wafer and welding the glass thereby joining the wafers. CONSTITUTION:The glass rod 3' for welding is inserted and disposed into an insertion groove 7 and in succession, the wafer is disposed in a heating furnace where the entire part is heated to the temp. above the softening point of the glass rod 3'. The glass film 13 melts as well in this stage and the 1st and 2nd ferrite wafers 2'', 2' are joined in other parts as well except in the groove 6, 7, 8. The glass film 13 part in opposite contact with the winding groove 6 and the glass film 13 on the slope 14 of the winding groove of the 1st ferrite wafer 2'' exhibit the effect of adequately guiding the glass 3 consisting of the softened glass rod into the winding groove 6. The generation of clogging by the excessive intrusion of the glass 3 into the winding groove 6 and the drop-out of the glass occurring in the failure of the glass intrusion are consequently obviated.
