PURPOSE:To reduce the x radiation of unnecessary electric and magnetic fields from a deflection yoke, by securing a coil around the front end of a deflection coil assembly so as to function as a short ring. CONSTITUTION:In a deflection yoke, a pair of vertical deflection coils 2a, 2b are provided on the top and bottom of the outside surface of a separator 6 and a pair of horizontal deflection coils 1a, 1b are provided on the top and bottom of the inside surface of the separator 6. A coil 8 is wound on a circular coil bobbin 7 around the front end of a deflection coil assembly so that the coil 8 functions as a short ring. Since a magnetic field generated by the coil 8 offsets that generated by the horizontal deflection coils 1a, 1b, a leaking magnetic field is greatly reduced. |
