PURPOSE:To easily form only an audio music tape by multiplexing the frequency of a multi-channel sound signal, FM recording on a recording medium and inputting a sound intermediate frequency signal obtained through a mixer and a band-pass filter to an FM demodulator to reproduce the sound of a desired channel. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a recording, the frequency of the multi-channel sound signal is multiplexed and FM recorded on the recording medium 11. The signal reproduced from the recording medium 11 is recorded in the mixers 13-16 and the band-pass filters 18-21 to which a local oscillator 17 in which the frequency is changed corresponding to the channel to obtain the sound intermediate frequency signal. This sound intermediate frequency signal is inputted to the FM demodulators 22-25 to reproduce the sound of the desired channel. Thereby, only the audio music tape can be formed and the circuit constitution of a reproducing system in the multi-channel can be simplified.
