PURPOSE:To facilitate the specifying operation for a robot position by moving a mark which indicates the robot position on a CRT with arrow keys and positioning it at a desired position. CONSTITUTION:An off-line programming device consists of a processor 11, a ROM 12, a RAM 13, etc., and a system program STP, a motion file MF, a positive variable files PF, etc., are stored in the RAM 13. Further, the track (robot path) TIM< source line number SLN, position data PD, etc., of a robot movable part are displayed on the screen of a graphic display device 15 by interpreter processing which specifies position variables. When a position variable position P is corrected, the mark is moved to a desired position by using arrow keys K0-K9 on a keyboard 14 and an NL key K10 is pressed to correct the position variable and display the robot path.
