PURPOSE:To execute the scanning convertion of an image at high speed by generating an address by a buffer memory having the square area of a word width and converting and transferring the image scanning between image memories at a box unit. CONSTITUTION:An address generating circuit 40 of a control part 4 is equipped with a register file to store the line address level difference of respective image transmitting side and image receiving side image memories 1 and 2 and the box line address level difference and generates a transfer address. The contents of the image transmitting image memory 1 are read at a row unit and stored into a buffer memory 30. At a buffer memory unit, the contents of the buffer memory 30 are read at a row unit, and transferred to the address of the image side image memory 2 generated based upon an address level difference. |
