PURPOSE:To regularly form fine projections on a substrate by densely disposing fine particles on a winding plate of a printing roll or the like, filling the spaces therebetween by plating, etc., and removing the fine particles or further subjecting the surface of the fine particles to top coating. CONSTITUTION:The metal or nonmetallic particles 2 are disposed in regular order on the substrate 1 which is a flat plate or molding made of a metal or nonmetallic material and the spaces between the substrate 1 and the fine particles 2 are filled by an Ni-P electroplating method, etc. The fine particles 2 are then removed or a top coating layer 4 is formed on the fine particles 2 which are held intact to 1mm thickness by electroless plating of Cu. The substrate is then wound on a roll body 5 for printing, by which the printing roll having the fine projections is manufactured. |
