PURPOSE:An oral cavity cleaner, obtained by blending vitamin E or an ester derivative thereof with a specific water-soluble salt and having improved stability. CONSTITUTION:An oral cleaner obtained by blending one or two or more compounds selected from vitamin E and ester derivatives thereof with one or two or more water-soluble neutralized materials of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, fumaric acid, benzoic acid, acetic acid or acidic amino acids. The vitamin E is ingested as a nutriment assistant and sometimes blended in dentifrices or external drugs utilizing the peripheral circulation promoting action and wound cure promoting action thereof. When ester derivatives of the vitamin E having relatively good stability are used, they are slowly and oxidatively decomposed. The above- mentioned water-soluble neutralized materials blended in the cleaner are believed to suppress the above-mentioned oxidative decomposition and provide the aimed stable oral cavity cleaner.
