PURPOSE:To forge a blade being large in size and having a high deformation resistance by a die forging machine of a small capacity, by dividing an object to be worked, into plural sections in the longitudinal direction, and pressing and forging each section from the direction being roughly vertical to an average flat surface in its section. CONSTITUTION:A moving blade, etc. of a Ti alloy having a twist are divided roughly equally, and a root side and a tip side are forged as the first section and the second section, respectively. As for a pair of forging dies for forging the root side, upper and lower dies which have been brought to die sinking so that a flat surface of both end parts of the first section becomes forward and reverse equal angles against the horizontal surface are used. As for a pair of forging dies for forging the tip side, upper and lower dies which have been brought to die sinking with regard to a suitable width part of the second section and the first section, so that a flat surface of a boundary S and the tip part becomes roughly equal inclined angles in the forward and reverse directions, against the horizontal surface. In this regard, a pair of forging dies of the latter are made to have a suitable clearance against the first section part except the foregoing. In this way, a moving blade being large in size and having a high deformation resistance can be forged by a die forging machine of a small capacity.
