PURPOSE:To perform the seaming under the optimum conditions by feeding the seaming roller of the above of the 1st rotary body which rotates the periphery of the cradle fixing the body to be worked with the movement of the cam follower which is engaged with the grooved cam of the 2nd rotary body rotating by a free adjusting differential device. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of the gear 28 by a main motor 21 turns an idling gear wheel 29, the gear wheel 9 of a fixed shaft 2 and the 1st rotary body 10 and rotates the seaming roller 16 engaged with a slider 14 on the periphery of the body 3 to be worked fitted to the cradle 4 at the tip of the fixed shaft 2. The cam follower 20 of the slider 14 is engaged with the cam groove 19 of the 2nd rotary body 17 which rotates with the slippage of the phase with the 1st rotary body 10 by th differential device 30, feeding the seaming roller 16 toward the body 3 to be worked. The body 3 to be worked is seamed under the optimum conditions by controlling the feeding for the rotation of the seaming roller 16 by adjusting the phase slippage of the 2nd rotary body 17 with the turn of the wave generator 36 of the differential device 30 by an auxiliary motor 39.
