摘要 |
PURPOSE:To provide always proper fuel injection by providing a low pressure fuel injection nozzle for injecting fuel to a combustion chamber and controlling said nozzle to advance the fuel injection completing period as engine load is increased. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder head 5 is formed with a nozzle hole 21 opening to the upper portion of a combustion chamber 6 and a fuel injection nozzle 26 is mounted in the nozzle hole 21 to project its end therein. Also, the nozzle hole 21 is provided in its port 21a with a controlling valve 22 for controlling communication between the combustion chamber 6 and the nozzle hole 21. This controlling valve 22 is opened and closed through a rocker arm 24 by a cam shaft 13 to be opened from the latter period of intake stroke to the end period of compression stroke. And the fuel injection nozzle 26 is controlled by a controller 29 according to the running condition of an engine while its injection period is controlled to advance as the load on an engine is increased.
