PURPOSE:A stock hypodynamic inhibitor for strawberries, containing a water-soluble vitamin K derivative as an active ingredient, capable of preventing the stock hypodynamic phenomenon of strawberries and having further remedial effect and very high safety. CONSTITUTION:A stock hypodynamic inhibitor for strawberries containing a water-soluble vitamin K derivative, e.g. menadione sodium bisulfite, 4-amino-3- methyl-1-naphthol hydrochloride or 1,4-diamino-2-methylnaphthalene hydrochloride as an active ingredient. The inhibitor is preferably used in a concentration of 1-500ppm for dipping roots, 1-1,000ppm for dust coating roots, 1-500ppm for foliar spraying or soil irrigation and 0.001-10ppm for adding to a culture fluid in nutriculture. EFFECT:Even if strawberries are treated after occurrence of the stock hypodynamic phenomenon, the phenomenon is recovered and the stock becomes healthy and hardly suffers from blights, e.g. yellows, etc.
