PURPOSE:To attain an after recording by arranging a reproducing rotary head so as to precede by three fields or more than the recording rotary head. CONSTITUTION:Recording rotary heads 6A and 6B, and reproducing rotary heads 4A and 4B are arranged so that the former precedes by the latter by, at least, three fields or more, by constituting a device in such way, a new digital signal inputted to an optional track is synchronized with a part of signal, at least, out of digital signals recorded on a selected track, and can be recorded with the recording rotary heads 6A and 6B.
