This heating filter is intended to heat the air delivered to the engine in cold weather. The filter element is made of a porous paper containing electrically conductive fibres. To pass the current through the paper, conductors 20 are provided, fitted astride the edges of the harmonica-folded filter paper and connected to the two terminals of the storage battery. <IMAGE>
