发明名称 RECORDING APPARATUS USING THERMAL INK JET SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high speed recording apparatus using a thermal ink jet system, by overheating that part of recording liquid corresponding to laser beam emitted by a beam energy irradiation means to generate air bubbles and emitting he recording liquid by the pressure of air bubbles to adhere the same to the opposed recording member. CONSTITUTION:A beam energy irradiation means is mounted at the position opposed to recording paper 9 through an ink holding member 1. Laser beam with output of 4-8W emitted from a beam emitter 14 is modulated on the basis of an image signal of about 1 MHz by a modulator 15 and subsequently scanned by a rotary polyhedral mirror 16 and condensed onto an ink holding member 1 in a desired spot size by an image forming leans system 17. The diameter of beam is controlled so that the condensed laser beam spot 18 is irradiated so as to extend over a plurality of ink liquid holding small holes 19. The ink liquid of the part receiving the irradiation of laser beam spot 18 is overheated to generate air bubbles 32 and emitted by the pressure of air bubbles to be adhered to and recorded on the opposed recording paper 9.
