PURPOSE:To make it possible to improve the bill transferring speed and the dealing capacity of a cash dealing device, by holding the bills piled in the bill piling member with a bill pushing-out device, and picking up them from the piled bills. CONSTITUTION:A hand 4 is positioned at the opening 22 of a frame body 16, and a push plate 23 is moved to the opening 22 by driving a motor 26. Therefore, the push plate 23 pushes bills of a specific thickness to insert between grips 4A and 4B of the hand 4. After that, the push plate 23 returns to the original position. Then, the grips 4A and 4B of the hand 4 grip the inserted bills and pick up from the bill piling member 14, to feed to the desired position. After bills of a given thickness are picked up from the piling member 14, a motor 20 is driven to push up a bill holding table 17 to make the push plate 23 push the bills of a given thickness again. In such a way, the bill delivery speed of the cash dealing device is improved, and the dealing capacity can be also improved.
