PURPOSE:To possitively perform positioning, by a method wherein an cylindrical spring with slits is arranged at the angle part of the opposite angular position of a crossing at right angles part with adjacent two sides crossing at right angles as reference, the angle part of a square plate is pressed into the slit and the restoring force of the elastically deformed cylindrical spring presses the square plate to the reference two sides to be fixedly positioned. CONSTITUTION:When a print plate 2 is placed fixedly in a recessed part 11, the right angle corner part 23 formed by sides 21, 22 is firstly inserted into a slit 42 and the print plate 2 is made inclined. The opposite corner part in the other two sides directions is made into levitated state and pressed in the slit 42' direction while being lowered. By spreading the slit 42', the print plate 2 is contacted with reference sides 12, 13 to be placed in the recessed part. The projected part angles on both sides of the list 42' press the sides 21, 22 in respective directions by the reaction force in the restoring direction. The synthesized vector thereof becomes of the direction of an angle part 14 and the positioning is achieved by steadily contacting the print plate 2 with the reference sides 12, 13.
