PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a condenser refluxing liquefied methane, by interposing a compression means performing the compression, cooling and compression of a methane cooling medium in this order between an evaporator and a heat dissipator. CONSTITUTION:A stock methane supply passage is connected to a distillation tower 1 and a condenser 3 cooling methane gas to reflux the same to the distillation tower 1 is connected to the upper part of the distillation tower 1 and a recovery passage 4 for methane gas low in the content of heavy carbon methane is connected to the condenser 3. A compression type heat pump A recirculating methane as a cooling medium in the order of a compression means 5 consisting of a first compressor 5a, a methane cooling part 5b and a second compressor 5c, a heat dissipator 6, a pressure reducing valve 7 and an evaporator 8 is provided. The evaporator 8 is integrally molded along with the condenser 3 and heat dissipator 6 comprises a heat exchanger connected to a methane cooling medium cooling part 5b by a LNG cooling pipe 11 and cooling the methane cooling medium by LNG.
