PURPOSE:To aim at the accurate separation of a lead frame, by supporting the central lower side of the lead frame at a lowermost position with a supporting member, while displacing a pinch member pinching both sides of the frame at the lowermost position and, after making a both-end supporting member penetrate into a clearance between the pinch member and the frame just the upper position, retracting the supporting member. CONSTITUTION:Each lower surface at both sides of a lowermost frame central part of a lead frame 2 is supported by two pairs of frame supporting members, and made possible to be reciprocated. When an eccentric shaft 16 is rotated and a lever 21 comes to down motion, a both-end pinch member 27 is projected to the inside of a guide frame 4 as going downward, and the frame 2 is pinched and made to go down. Since the lowermost frame 2 is supported of its center, it is curved by down displacement at both ends. Simultaneously rock motion of a cam lever 37 is started, and a both-end supporting member 42 is advanced to the side of the frame 2 and enters between the lowermost frame 2 and a pressure-contact position due to motion of the level 21. Afterward, the central part supporting member is retracted, and the lowermot frame 2 is dropped and separated.
