Device for fastening a take-off box to the ground, for pole vaulting. The invention relates to a device using one of the sheaths sealed and embedded in the ground of sports halls for fixing a take-off box for pole vaulting. It consists of a box 1 under which is fixed a cylindrical guide 2. A non-slip soft rubber plate 5 is bonded under the base of the take-off box. The take-off box, which may be horizontal or inclined, is placed on the ground 4 and the cylindrical guide 2 ensures immobilisation in the sheath 3. The pole 6 bears against the bottom of the box 10. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for pole vaulting in athletics sports associations and in schools. <IMAGE>
