There is a device in which a divided housing (5) is provided with a means (9, 12) for fixing on surrounding material, at least one bore (9) having two openings (11) and being designed such that an elongate body (12) can be pushed through it in the empty state. At the same time, it is desirable if the annular magnetic device can be fixed on the human body in a fairly simple manner and has a simplified design for this purpose. This is achieved in that the housing (5) is provided with the at least one bore (9) which extends completely in the wall of one of the housing parts (1, 2) and has two openings (11) at the housing surface, in that the bore (9) is empty or unused in the fully assembled annular magnetic device and in that the object to be pushed through is a thread (12) intended for suturing to the surrounding material.
