In order to screw a supporting foot, for appliance housings of domestic appliances, in a simple manner and with low outlay in a nut (4) via the threaded rod (2) of the foot, a flexible shaft (7) is attached equiaxially directly onto the threaded rod (2). The opposite end of the flexible shaft bears a handgrip (8) which can be guided to an easily accessible location of the appliance housing. <IMAGE>
