The invention relates to a supporting frame for baths or shower baths which consists of two crossmembers, arranged at a distance from one another, running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the bath and supporting the bottom of the bath, and of vertically running feet attached to the ends of the crossmembers. Two support bearings are arranged on each crossmember. The support bearings can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the crossmembers and fixed in their respective position. The arrangement and construction of the support bearings allows good adaptation to the bath to be accommodated in each case and to the building conditions, i.e. it is possible to change the position of the bath with respect to the supporting frame. <IMAGE>
