The adapter provided with the funnel is fastened on a collecting vessel, especially a milk bottle, with a threaded connector which requires a stable material because the threaded connection must be tightened firmly in order to guarantee a perfect seal. On the other hand, however, a hard material for the funnel is undesirable for a variety of reasons and is unpleasant. Since the funnel is produced separately, so that it can be removed from the adapter it is possible to use a softer material for the funnel than for the adapter, so that either part is made of the optimum material. The funnel is made, in particular, of a flexible material or plastic. The funnel pipe can be made in the conventional length or much longer. In the latter case the entire breast pump can be used more advantageously. <IMAGE> |
