PURPOSE:A water-soluble lubricating oil agent having improved lubricating properties and rust prevention, having pH in use adjusted to a specific range, containing a phosphoric acid type inorganic compound and a polyhydric alcohol as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The aimed lubricating oil agent which contains (A) a phosphoric acid type inorganic compound (preferable example; orthophosphoric acid alkali metallic salt, ammonium salt, alkanolamine salt, etc.,) and (B) a polyhydric alcohol (preferably example, ethylene glycol or glycerin as essential components and is adjusted to pH 4-12 (preferably 7-12) in use. The amount of the component A is usually adjusted to 0.005-10wt% (preferably 0.1-5wt%) calculated as P2O5 in use. |
