发明名称 Short-circuit indicator
摘要 To indicate short circuits in electrical conductors and systems, a device having a display section which is to be arranged separately from the transmitter is used. This display section has a U-shaped yoke with wound-on exciter coil and an underlying display cylinder constructed to be excitable by the coil current and an overlying detachably constructed locking contact. The display cylinder is guided in a guide tube so that, when the display cylinder responds, it is deliberately guided in the direction of the locking contact and is then fixed in location by the latter. In this manner, the display cylinder provided with intensively red colour can be seen in a viewing window which additionally exhibits a magnifying glass in order to improve this indicating effect. After elimination of the short circuit and operation of the locking contact, the display cylinder then slips back into its initial position. Where the display cylinder does not need to be fixed in location, a liquid cylinder is provided which exhibits a ferromagnetic mixing body which stirs up a dye deposited in the liquid and, as a result, intensively colours the liquid. This liquid body is also made visible in the viewing window with magnifying glass so that the short circuit which has occurred can be easily determined. After a few hours, the dye settles again in the liquid so that the short-circuit indicator is immediately ready to be used again after the short circuit has been eliminated. <IMAGE>
