A cupboard for changing cubicles consists of at least two cupboard elements arranged side by side and provided with a door articulated on a side wall. To reduce the wall thickness of the side walls and nevertheless ensure a good fixture of the door hinges, the two abutting side walls (3, 4) of two adjacent cupboard elements (2) are connected to one another in the region of their vertical front edges (5) by a slip-on profiled rail (6) of oval cross-section, and the profiled rail (6) has an axial channel (7) running in the longitudinal direction of the profile cross-section and is provided with two outer, axial stop strips (16, 17) running perpendicularly to the channel (7). <IMAGE>
