PURPOSE:To reduce the storage capacity required for storage of a conversion table by using a conversion table, which is prepared for only a partial variance range of input numerical values, to obtain an output numerical value in all of the variance range. CONSTITUTION:Correspondences between plural input numerical values includes in a prescribed divided range out of plural divided ranges, into which the variance range of input numerical values is divided by the boundary value changing by double, and output numerical values which have reciprocal relations to said input numerical values at a certain ratio are stored preliminarily as the conversion table in a storage part 1. A detecting part 2 detects the divided range, to which a given input numerical value belongs, out of plural divided ranges and detects a ratio of a representative value indicating the detected divided range to that indicating a prescribed divided range. The first dividing part 3 prescribed divided range. The first dividing part 3 divides the given input numerical value by the ratio detected by the detecting part 2. The second dividing part 4 divides a numerical value, which is obtained by converting the numerical value obtained in the dividing part 3 by the conversion table stored in the storage part 1, by the ratio detected by the detecting part 2. |
