PURPOSE:To display an estimated value with high accuracy by relatively-short-time measurement by switching a measured value display to an estimated value display on the basis of a detection signal which is outputted firstly between the detection output of a specific value arrival detecting means and the detection output of a timer arrival detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 1 detects the temperature under the contacting tongue or arm and detected temperature information is inputted to a CPU 3 through an A/D converter 2. The CPU 3 operates the sensor 1 with a power switch 7 on and stores the temperature information which is sent successively in a memory 4. Further, the CPU 3 is provided with a parameter decision means which judges a temperature rise curve, an estimated value arithmetic means which calculates converged temperature on the basis of the decision value, and a display switching means which judges whether or not the measured value of rising temperature is a set value, judges a time-up state from a temperature inspection start point, and switches the measured value display to the estimated value display at an earlier point between when the temperature reaches a difference value and when the timer enters the time-up state. Thus, the estimated value is displayed with high accuracy by relatively-short-time measurement.
