<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid containing a specific dye as a recording agent, having excellent recording characteristics such as ejection stability, etc., storage stability, fixability to a recording material, etc., giving a recorded image having excellent light-resistance, weather-resistance, water-resistance, etc., and useful as an ink for ink-jet recording. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid contains preferably 0.1-20wt% one or more dyes of formula [R1 and R2 are H, sulfonic acid residue, COOH or alkoxy; R3 is alkyl or akoxy; X is -CH=CH-, -NH- or -N=N-; Y and Z are atomic group necessary for forming (substituted) benzene ring or (substituted) naphthalene ring; n is 0 or 1; the sulfonic acid and COOH are present as a salt with Li, Na, K, NH4 or organic amine].</p> |
