The invention relates to a mount for a nose support on a spectacle frame. The nose support has a holder which projects laterally from the side face of the nose support which is averted from the nose support surface, and is held on the lens ring by a clamping action. In order to be able to mount a nose support simply and reliably on a spectacle frame made from plastic or metal retrospectively, as well, it is proposed that the end of the holder averted from the nose support is constructed as a mounting part which can be clamped between spectacle lens and lens ring and which is arranged with respect to the nose support to be laterally offset in a direction towards the spectacle lens. In this arrangement, the outer surface, facing the lens ring, of the mounting part has a shape coordinated with the shape of the groove of the lens ring, while the outer surface of the mounting part which faces the spectacle lens has the shape of a groove which serves to accommodate the spectacle lens.
