The invention relates to an installation wall element having a rear wall and a front wall, which are in the form of panels and onto which sanitary facilities can be fitted, and pipes and shaped pipe pieces which are arranged between said walls and are intended for the water-supply and water-discharge lines onto which the sanitary facilities can be connected by connection points on the front wall. On the base of the wall element, at least over a portion of its length, there is arranged a collecting connection line comprising a block-shaped wall duct (4) with integrated gradient. Furthermore, the rear wall is configured as carrier panel (1) for the pipes and shaped pipe pieces, and said pipes and said piped pieces are configured, in each case on their main and functional portion, as building blocks (5, 10, 11, 12) with integrated pipe and/or duct portions, and said building blocks are arranged such that they can be laid and fixed on the carrier panel (1). Finally, the connection-line portions (14) leading from the waste-channelling building blocks (10, 11, 12) to the wall duct (4) are configured and arranged in a flexible manner. <IMAGE>
