<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid containing specific two kinds of dyes, having excellent long-term storage stability, ejection stability, ejection response, color clarity, light-resistance, water-resistance, alcohol-resistance, resolution, etc., and suitable for ink jet recording. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid contains (A) a dye of formula I [X is -ONa, -N(CH3)2, -N(C2H5)2, etc.; Y is =0, =N(C2H5)2(+), etc.; Z is COOH or sulfonic acid residue; R1-R8 are H, halogen or sulfonic acid residue; the above COOH and sulfonic acid are present as a salt with alkali metal, NH4 or organic amine] and (B) a dye of formula II (Ar is substituted phenyl or substituted naphthyl; R1 is alkyl, phenyl, etc.; R2 is H or sulfonic acid residue; M is Cr, Co, Ni, etc.; the sulfonic acid is present as a salt with alkali metal salt) or formula III (R1 and R2 are H, halogen, alkyl, etc.; R3 is H or sulfonic acid residue; R4 and R5 are H, sulfonic acid residue, etc.) as recording agents.</p> |
