PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a sepn. analysis by providing a component holding column which holds and thickens the objective component group separated by a sepn. column and repeating the sepn. until the objective component is isolated. CONSTITUTION:An eluate 1 is discharged through a pump 2, a sample injecting part 3, the sepn. column 4, a detector 5, and a valve 6 by the control of a controller 15. An eluate 8 is discharged through a pump 9, valves 6, 10, the component holding column 13, the valve 6, the sepn. column 11, a detector 12 and the valve 10. The valve 6 is changed over to adsorb the objective component group in the column 13 when the sample injected from the injecting part 3 begins to be detected in the detector 5. The valve is thereafter changed over again to elute the component group from the component 13. Said component group is detected by the detector 12. The valves 6, 10 are then changed over to elute the objective component and thereafter, the valve 10 is changed over to discharge the unnecessary components from a discharge port 14. The valve 6 is changed over after the elution of all the components. The redesorption from the column 13 and the resepn. in the column 11 are repeated until the sepn. is thoroughly eliminated.
