MICROORGANISM MONITOR APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To permit the identification of the state of living things and to make easy image edition and processing by selectively eliminating the uneven image quality specific to the structure and working of an image fiber and displaying the sharp image of microorganisms to be monitored. CONSTITUTION:Steam is fed into a reaction vessel 1 of a microorganism monitor apparatus so that the inside of the vessel is ready to be subjected to heat sterilization. An object for reaction is thrown as a dissolved substrate 20 into the vessel from a substrate tank 2 when said sterilization temp. is attained. The microorganisms or immobilized microorganisms and oxygen are thereafter supplied into a suspension 10. The enlarged light image of the liquid 10 by the substrate 20 subjected to a stirring treatment in the vessel 1 is taken to the outside by the image fiber 60 of an image pickup device 40. The image from the fiber 60 is picked up by a TV camera and is supplied to a monitor TV64. A camera controller 65, an image processor 66 and a pressure control device 84 are controlled under the control of an image taking-in control circuit 67 by which the identification of the state of the living things is made easy.
