Pressure-medium power transformers of this type with two separate pressure-medium circuits are mainly used in hydraulic systems for the power transmission of a hydraulic-oil pressure-medium circuit controlled in flow and pressure to a second water or water/oil emulsion pressure-medium circuit of higher pressure, the pressure medium of which is to proportionally assume, with uniform pulsation, the regulated flow and pressure values of the first pressure-medium circuit. Therefore the utility of the such a pressure-medium power transformer is determined by the quality of the proportional power transmission and the pulsation uniformity, which in previous embodiments are not especially good. These shortcomings are removed according to the invention by a continuously working pressure-medium power transformer with plunger linear motors (15) which are arranged in a circle and form a second pressure-medium circuit via couplings (22) with in-line plunger pump elements (23) in a pump housing (7, 8) provided with inlet valves (25) and outlet valves (26). The second pressure-medium circuit is connected to a consumer by the discharge (20) and the feed (21). In this arrangement, the plunger linear motors (15) supplied from the first pressure-medium circuit are controlled by a plate cam (11) which is axially displaced by a rotating eccentric (12), the plungers (15) positively guided sinusoidally in stroke being turned via a swash plate (16) and a shaft (14). <IMAGE>
