发明名称 INTAKE DEVICE OF ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the transient running property of an engine without using a surge tank by providing intake paths provided in main and auxiliary intake ports with throttle valves and affording communication between the downstream portions of throttle valves in the respective intake paths through valves opened in the transient running of engine. CONSTITUTION:A primary main intake path 23 provided with a throttle valve 26 communicates to a side port of an intermediate housing in a rotary engine 1A. A secondary main intake path 24 provided with a throttle valve 27 communicates to a port 9 of a side housing and an auxiliary intake path 25 provided with a throttle valve 28 communicates to a side port 10. The secondary main and auxiliary intake paths 24, 25 communicate to each other through a communicating path 43 downstream of respective throttle valves 27, 28 and the communicating path 43 is provided with a valve 44 opened and closed according to the signal of a control unit 46. The valve 44 is opened in the transient running of acceleration and deceleration of engine to utilize said intake path 25 for a surge tank.
