PURPOSE:To easily produce a flexible optical disk or the like having <=1.0mm thickness by laminating an easily deformable resin on a heat resistant sheet, grasping the sheet by dies under heating to transfer guide grooves thereto and laminating an optical recording layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:A polymethyl methacrylate (easily deformable resin) having 85 deg.C thermal deformation temp. and 80,000 number average mol.wt. is dissolved in a toluene and the soln. thereof is coated on a polyimide film (heat resistant sheet) having >=300 deg.C thermal deformation temp. and 50mum thickness. The polymethyl methacrylate layer 2 having 50mum thickness remains and a laminated sheet 3 is obtd. when such polyimide film 8 is dried by heating for 1hr at 100 deg.C. A stamper 4 having a rugged surface is mounted to the die 5 and a cushion layer 7 to the die 6. The laminated sheet 3 is pressed under heating to transfer the guide grooves thereto. A light absorptive dye is thereafter coated on a substrate by which the optical recording layer is formed. |
