METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING NYLON-6 FILM

The method includes (i) extruding molten nylon at its M.P. (230-240 deg. C) through 1st and 2nd extruders to a forming roller; (ii) rapidly cooling the extruded nylon to the temp. of 60-70 deg. C with the absorption of moist. for 80 deg. humidity; (iii) stretching the nylon up to 1.7-1.8times the unstretched dimen. (i.e. to the limit of stretching) first for the width and then for the length; (iv) heat- treating the stretched film at 150-170 deg. C.
