PURPOSE:To facilitate a process and increase a durability, by screwing a U- formed middle cover and a front cover on a metallic recessed bottom cover, on the case of a portable generator, and by connecting a rear cover to be freely opened and closed on one side of the bottom cover. CONSTITUTION:The case of a portable generator is assembled with a recessed bottom cover 3 formed with a metallic sheet, a U-formed middle cover 25, a front cover 11, and a rear cover 47. The bottom cover 3, the middle cover 25, and the front cover 11 are screwed and are integrally formed. The middle cover 25 is provided with stepped levels on a front surface and a rear surface on the upper side and both left and right sides to form polymerization pieces 31-36, and is butted to the front cover 11 and the rear cover 47. The rear cover 47 comes in contact with a bottom cover 1 to be freely opened and closed by a hinge 9, and a portable handle 53 is fitted on the upper section of the middle cover 25. The front cover 11 is provided with an opening section 20 for an instrument and an opening section 23 for a plug socket. As a result, assembling is facilitated, and strength is increased, and maintenance inspection is facilitated.
