PURPOSE:To set freely additional information at each destination by storing destination information and additional information corresponding thereto to a destination information storage section and an additional information storage section respectively. CONSTITUTION:In registering the destination information, a control section 3 receives the destination information from an operation section 1 and informs it to a destination information storage section 4 for storage. In registering the additional information, the control section 3 receives the additional information from the operation section 1, informs it to the additional information storage section 5 for storage. Transmission is executed according to normal procedures. When the designation of addition of the additional information exists, the control section 3 uses the storage section 5 to receive the additional information corresponding to abbreviated dialing from an additional information management table, adds it to the read information of the sending original received from a read section 2 and sends the result to the opposite machine.
