PURPOSE:To judge simply and surely a point to which a transfer document is transferred actually by sending a transfer document and returning the station number and transfer destination number of the final transfer station to be executed to a request station requesting the transfer. CONSTITUTION:A request station sends a destination number and a transfer destination number of the request station to a transfer station 1 together with a transfer document. The station 1 transfers the destination number by one and sends it to the next transfer station together with the transfer document. If a transfer station on its way cannot transfer the document to the preset transfer destination correctly, the transfer station dials the destination number of the request station transferred sequentially and sends the transfer destination number and the its own station number of the transfer station.
