<p>On at least one side of the seat there are provided first (6) and second (7) swing arms having a lower point (6a, 7a) of hinging to the structure of the vehicle (P) and an upper point (6b,7b) of hinging to the back (2) of the seat. The distance separating the lower points (6a, 7a) of hinging to the structure of the vehicle is substantially equal to the distance which separates the upper points (6b, 7b) of hinging to the seat. During the adjustment movement of the seat (l) in a longitudinal direction relative to the structure of the vehicle (P), the two arms (6, 7) pivot to keep the orientation of the back (2) relative to the structure of the vehicle substantially constant. The length of one (6) of the two arms, however, is selectively variable so as to alter the orientation of the back (2).</p> |
