PURPOSE:To improve the lower limit characteristics of a bubble detector by separating the roles of a bubble enlargement part and a dummy stretcher from each other. CONSTITUTION:The form of a soft magnetic pattern forming a bubble detector is varied between a part where the bubbles are enlarged and transferred and the part of an auxiliary stretcher which backs up the enlargement and transfer of bubbles. If the left enlarged part is noticed, it is known that the curvature is large at the part where the bubbles are actually transferred in the form of the stripe magnetic domains and in a pattern having the increased drive force compared with a 90 deg. chevron pattern, etc. While a dummy stretcher has a small curvature at its apex and in a smooth pattern. When these pattern are combined, the stripe magnetic domains are transferred intensively. Thus a bias magnetic field where the magnetic stripe magnetic domains are partly adsorbed by the dummy stretcher is reduced greatly to produce no practical problem at all even though the stripe magnetic domains have some delays at the boundary part with the dummy stretcher because the magnetic poles are scattered smoothly at the apex of the dummy stretcher.
