PURPOSE:To obtain a speaker diaphragm with excellent cohesion by laminating a carbon fiber material which has no sizing agent on it and a sheet-shaped thermoplastic resin, and making them composite together. CONSTITUTION:The carbon-fiber plain weave fabric is heated at about 380 deg.C for about 30min to decompose and remove the sizing agent of epoxy resin series. Then, the fabric after removing the sizing agent is laid on a film of nylon 6 resin. The fabric and the film together are put in a flat mold and heated up to approximately 280 deg.C, and subjected to a pressure of about 5kg/cm<2> for about 5min. Then the pressure is increased to 50kg/cm<2> and the fabric and the film together are cooled for about 10min in the mold. As a result, a flat composite sheet made of carbon fiber fabric and nylon 6 resin is obtained.
