A method to produce improved seaweed is described. Thus, a plate of glutinous rice (1) is prepd. by mixing powdered glutinous rice with a mixt. contg. ginger ext., garlic ext., sugar, seasonings, and yeast. On the other hand, a cover plate(2) is prepd. by mixing seaweed powder with a mixt. contg. garlic ext., ginger ext., sugar, seasonings, and glutinous rice. (1) is placed between two sheets of (2), pressed, and dried at 40-50≦̸C to give seasoned seaweed.
