SUPPORT DEVICE FOR AN AXLE

The axle (5) is guided on a rocker (3) which, for its part, is articulated on a bearing arm (1) and is supported by means of a fluid displacement unit (8). By accommodating the joint between the rocker (3) and the piston of the displacement unit (8) within the piston, it is possible to achieve large travels in a kinematically favourable manner. The axle support device is primarily intended for heavy lorries.
