PURPOSE:To realize a high response speed for a light signal by a method wherein a photodetector and an amplifier, which are driven independently, are unified in one device. CONSTITUTION:A light signal 115 is subjected to photoelectric conversion by a photodetector 119 and an electric signal 117 is outputted and the electric signal 117 is amplified by an amplifier 127 of the next step and outputted. The photodetector 119 and the amplifier 127 are driven by 1st source voltage 113 and 2nd source voltage 123 which are independently supplied to 1st source terminal 111 and 2nd source terminal 121 respectively. the unified photodetector 119 and amplifier 127 are so constituted as to be driven independently by the 1st source voltage 113 and the 2nd source voltage 123 respectively. With this constitution, the response speed for the light signal 115 can be improved.
