PURPOSE:To attain high-speed transmission with less sign error rate by bisecting one time slot of data and providing a phase difference having a phase transition between adjacent time slots and equal to the phase after an even number time slot. CONSTITUTION:One time slot of data is divided into the first half and the latter half at a prescribed ratio and a phase transition is given between the first half and the latter half. Then the phase transition has plural kinds of angles of phase transitions phi1-phi4 in leading or lagging directions alternately at adjacent time slots and the level and direction are equal between an optional time slot and a time slot apart by 2n-time slot. Digital information is sent by a phase difference theta between time slots apart by 2n.
