PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum control signal gain in a wide operational range from idling to high-speed running, by storing in a storage element a proportional component and an integral component in an air-fuel ratio feedback control, reading the stored values accordfing to an operational condition, and deciding a fuel control signal. CONSTITUTION:Output voltages from an O2 sensor 300, a pressure sensor 109 for detecting an intake manifold vacuum, a cooling water temperature sensor 110 and a suction air temperature sensor 111 are inputted through a multiplexer 106 and an analog-digital converter 107 to an interface 108. An output voltage from an engine speed sensor 112 is directly inputted to the interface 108. A control unit MPU 100 reads a proportional component and an integral component from ROMs 102 and 103 according to an operational condition, and computes an air-fuel ratio feedback control signal according to these components.
